Sahar Roques, mother of two boys, and former cell biologist, found balancing cooking traditional Persian meals with modern family life a struggle. With no healthy and natural alternatives to help her cause, she created her own line of Persian sauces that are helping parents around the country find quick, easy and new ways to prepare a dinner everyone in the family will enjoy.
“As a working mom, finding time to cook a traditional Persian meal from scratch was impossible. For example, the fresh herb and bean sauce (ghormeh sabzi) was a weekly staple from my childhood, and I missed it when I moved to the United States,” says Founder Sahar Roques.
